SHOPAN Ordains 2nd Batch Of Pastors With First Female

The Synagogue House of Prayer for All Nations (SHOPAN) consecrated its second batch of pastors and evangelists on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the mother church at Ngen-junction, Bamenda. The novelty was the ordination of the first female pastor of SHOPAN, Evangelist Mfone Helen.
In his thrilling sermon of the day preached by the General Overseer of SHOPAN, Kan Elroy Moses, titled “A Dangerous Mission”, he emphasized that every man of God not sent by God is on a dangerous mission. He noted that many persons have questioned from where certain men of God have had their powers to serve God, preach and perform signs and wonders.
Paradoxically, the anointed man of God said these very persons have or are patronizing native doctors, spirits, occultists and secret societies who are agents of Satan without questioning their source of power and authority.
Drawing afflatus from Jeremiah 14 -10, Acts 19:1-7, Acts 19:13-20, Senior Pastor Kan Elroy said what is disgusting is the truth that certain persons who pass for Men of God; Priests, Pastors, Bishops or Evangelists seek these satanic sources to obtain evil powers and deceive God’s elect in the name of serving God.
Any one not mandated by God and commissioned as such is on a dangerous mission. Any true servant of God must receive the seal of authenticity to be effective for God”. He further opined that a true man of God must be baptized in the Holy Ghost for him to be effective and efficient for God as an ambassador to His chosen elect.
On the take home messages to the ordained pastors and the congregation, the Senior Pastor noted that men of God must not be chosen and ordained for classic, material or selfish reasons. “There are in the world two classes of servants of God; those called by God and the second class are those who are professionals, called by man”. He said a hundred PhDs are not equal to the anointing as education is very relevant but is not a prerequisite of God for service.
The highlight of the occasion was the fact that among the ordained men and ladies of God was the pioneer female pastor of SHOPAN, Pastor Mrs. Mfone Helen. The other ordained pastors and evangelists were; Evangelists Petelsie Kongni Sama (Pastor), New Evangelists Petelsie Therese Bi nee Suh, Ataubo Uscane Ataubo and Achuobang Paul.
The Senior Pastor told the ordained five that the pastors of the Synagogue House of Prayer for All Nations are not static priests. He stressed that they could be sent to any SHOPAN church within and beyond the country to minister to the flock irrespective of their sexes.
Giving more spices to the occasion, a renegade of SHOPAN who had left the church and formed hers’, came in with her own pastors and an envelop (money) to shower praises on the SHOPAN man of God for the close assistant he has continued to give her and her congregation.
The General Overseer of the Synagogue House of Prayer for All Nations, Senior Pastor Kan Elroy Moses, even paid my daughter’s school fees”. She wept pouring out the tears of joy thanking God for what Kan Elroy has done for her, her family and her new found congregation.
The consecration wrapped up with a sumptuous banquet at the Bamenda congress hall. It should be noted that June 24, 2012 ordination was the second ever held in SHOPAN. The first was the ordination of 3 pastors.
