Fons Reaffirm Vow For His Aspiration Into Senate

A week after the North West Fons Union, NOWEFU bestowed the title, Mbang-Fon (walking stick) on Dr. Nick Ngwanyam, no one has raised a stint: not even for the pronouncement that Mbang-Fon Ngwanyam’s aspirations into the yet-to-be-put-in-place senate is endorsed. Mbang-Fon Chronicle has sampled, stands tall as the premier personality endorsed as Senator. Commentators hold that even the platform on which he has been elevated is paramount. The Fons, Chronicle is aware, were assured by President Paul Biya in 2010 that they would be favoured when the senate is being put in place.
News about Mbang-Fon Ngwanyam’s senatorial bid endorsement, had since been received with diversed reactions from a wide spectrum. No North West Fon has however openly expressed disappointment. Yet, what Chronicle learnt has been frustration from some key North West postulants, who had been mute about their aspirations.
Little is known in Cameroon about what it entails as a senator. But with the rich exposure of Mbang-Fon Ngwanyam it is expected that he would carry the aspirations of the Fons into the senate. Mbang-Fon Dr. Nick Ngwanyam is a refined personality, whom many bank on his savour faire to flaunt their dream.
