Community Development Volunteers for Technical Assistance currently has a vacancy for the position of an Accountant/Administrator to be based in her Head office in Bamenda and also to work on her field programmes from time to time.

Requirements:

A. Should have at least a Higher National Diploma or Degree in the field of Accounting

B. Should be at least 35 years and at most 40 years old. Should be a responsible married person.

C. Should have at least 5 years of working experience in the responsible and mature NGO environment and at least 3 of such years dealing with project, administrative and financial issues.

D. Should have the following key issues:

- Excellent computer/accounting skills including the application of Excel skills on data processing, finance management & PowerPoint. A good knowledge of secretarial duties, office management, document filling & classification

- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines

- Strong facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

- Good administrative and report writing skills

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- Problem solving ability (analytical)

- Good planning/coordinating/organizing skills as well as ability to trek within rural communities/traveling on motor bikes

- Mature and responsible married women are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Vacancy (Field Supervisor)

Community Development Volunteers for Technical Assistance currently has a vacancy on the position of a Field Supervisor who shall be based on the Bui Project Area based in Kumbo.

Requirements:

A. Should have at least an Advance level

B. Should be at least 30 years and at most 40 years old

C. Should have at least 4 years of working experience or as a volunteer with an NGO dealing with community mobilization and interacting with stakeholders.

C. Should have the following core technical skills:

- Excellent bike riding, communication, report writing & data collection skills. Should be physically fit to trek sometimes in and around the community.

- Be dynamic and demonstrated likeness to live and work in a typical African village setting working with elderly people that demands a lot of patience.

- Good interpersonal and animation skills

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), should be able to communicate well in “Lamnso”.

- Problem solving ability (analytical)

- Relate well with elderly and community volunteers
