During the last SDF NEC meeting
at Fru Ndi’s Ntarinkon palace, the SDF Chairman boasted that his party operates
a printing press. It is called Vision
Printing Press. Fru Ndi rebuked SDF officials who were carried positively
in Chronicle, alleging that they were
instead financing a critical paper to their detriment. He thereon announced
that with Vision Printing Press, SDF
can move mountains.
Less than a
month since Fru Ndi’s boast, Vision
Printing Press has gone comatose. Within the last week, a taxation seal
hangs on the door of the printing press. One of its customers wailed to Chronicle that his printing job had been
blocked inside the press.
Chronicle gathered that taxation had to
seal the press following its non-compliance with taxation prescriptions.
Accordingly, Fru Ndi failed to have told NEC that they could contribute money
to pay taxes for a printing press, which is supposed to generate income to
assist the party.
Yet, Ntarinkon
sources hinted Chronicle that the man
faulted for the closure of the outfit is Mochiggle Vanigassen. He is a former
communications boss and a Communication Adviser to Fru Ndi. He had since been
the Manager of the printing press. Critics even say, as a former government
employee, who understands how the system operates, it sounds ridiculous for him
to have allowed the sealing of the printing press.
Chronicle gathered that Fru Ndi has been
irked by the closure, which brings the image of SDF into disrepute. Accordingly, unconvinced by the act, Chronicle gathered that the chairman has
allegedly ordered for probe into the management of the SDF printing press,
Vision.
